The food and service were beyond my expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the vibes of this spot. Wonderful spot to take the family out for lunch.

This restaurant has awesome service and enjoyable menu. One of the best spot ever. The drinks and food arrived quickly and the rates were affordable. I recommend this place.

Wonderful restaurant, shame we have to give it a miss for a month

We have long loved this restaurant which we’ve been enjoying for many years - the food is excellent, the service spot on and the atmosphere is always a happy one. It’s a family-owned business that’s well run and always a pleasure to visit, which we do very regular.

We LOVE this restaurant. Every time we go they make us feel so incredibly welcome. The food is absolutely first class, plus they happily make changes for any allergies! Highly recommend for a special event or just a lovely meal out - we've done both there and they didn't disappoint!

Dinner with friends ,visit with us on our recommendation as they had never been here before. Friendly welcome , excellent ambiance, Very good selection on menu, prompt service,all was served hot and very plentiful..nice gap between courses and was not rushed. Very easy to talk across table as we all heard each other clearly. Fabulous food , for me best grilled liver + onions here. Our friends all enjoyed their choices and am pretty sure they will come back under their own steam in the future

I never write reviews but this place was definitely worth it! Went yesterday evening with my girlfriend and had a the cream of mushroom soup and the gnocchi for mains. Honestly the best Italian food I have ever had!! The service was amazing too, such friendly hosts and an authentic family feel to the restaurant. My first visit and most definitely won't be the last! Incredible place!

A little soggy ... my fungi risotto

Traditional family run neighbourhood Italian. Super friendly staff and really delicious food. Equally perfect for a special occasion or just a midweek lunch. Choose the veggie Da Franco Penne or the Veal Escalope with spaghetti.

Not good at all, bat food and very expensive

Very nice waiters and the Melenzane alla Parmigiana was delicious but the lemon veal although nice meat the sauce lacked luster and slightly gluey. Carrots and peas did not go down too well with the ladies. Courgettes were good. Noisey but pleasant atmosphere.

Authentic atmosphere and generous family run Italian restaurant. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the area.

Best Italian place I've ever been to, no questions as to why it has been around for almost forty years. I've had the same pasta dish at multiple other places and was always disappointed, but this salmone one exceeded my expectations. Apparently the calves liver with butter and sage is also amazing, and the potatoes are nice. The complimentary fresh bread and butter are also incredible, soft and fresh (unless they've run out, but that's one's fault for getting there so late). I don't recommend the spaghetti covered in pepper unless you love pepper and don't mind it not being creamy, but the chef is great and I've decided to go through everything I can eat on the menu, so I don't mind. Service should be really good, but I was told if you're not happy, ask for Daniel, the owner (which I think is weird, but I believe that man knew what he was talking about).

Very good food and people

Amazing food and reasonably priced. The best place for pasta bar none. Pizza isn't on the menu but when the other foods offered are this good who cares! Service is impeccable and a very warm and cozy place to keep you coming back for more.

Came to the restaurant after visiting friends in London for a reunion and a catch up. We decided to go after a suggestion by a friend.We where greeted warmly and seated quickly, we honestly immediately felt at home. Food looked and tasted amazing, don’t get me started on the smells! Everything and more, you would expect from a family run restaurant. Next time I’m back in London, I know where I’m going for my evening meal! Really appreciate the service and the great food! Authentic Italian food. Not pretending to be 5 star but just good hearty food, and that's what you get. Average of about £15 for a main, but it's nice not to see a pizza in sight. Everything is cooked from fresh and it's good tasty food. Very clean too

A great little restaurant that has been running for years. Pleasant staff who were very courteous and extremely helpful with menu choices. We had a great 3 course meal which left us feeling completely satisfied.

Just a gem of a restaurant!

It's a really nice place to go eat. It's not too expensive either, at least for me, I think when I go there I might spend about 20 on a meal there. Great food and staff, I come here for most of my birthdays.

Will be back again!
